Hi, I make a picture for a contest but the shadows are very low, how can I enhance the shadows?

Tweak lightning, gamma, color mapping, tweak in post - choose any combination
1 hour of rendering? Show me your scene or settings and your computer configuration.

Shadows depends on lightning. What lamps are you using? Stairs example shows not fast GI setting. Try Irradiance Map + Light Cache.

            A sun and an area...
Sun in Sun mode or not? May be shadow bias is too big or beam radius too low (it depends on scene scale)

Sorry, but I am very beginner and I don't know what are the Irradiance Map + Light Cache.
GI panel: Primary bounces Irradiance Map, Secondary bounces: Light Cache
